Privacy and site information

Who publishes this site?

Doctor Bone on Bone is an educational resource published by AROmotion. It presents an editorial perspective on osteoarthritis, joint biology, pain and movement. It is not a substitute for personal medical advice.

Information you choose to share

The request forms ask for your first and last name, email address, phone number, the joint in pain and, if you choose, your ZIP code. When a request is sent, those details are stored with a submission identifier, the date, which form you used and any campaign tags from the link that brought you here, in this site’s database, along with this site’s analytics identifiers for your browser and visit. Do not submit diagnoses, symptoms, medical records or other sensitive health information.

A patient care educator from AROmotion will call or email you to share educational resources about osteoarthritis, joint health and the research discussed on this site, and to answer general educational questions. This resource request is not an appointment request or a request for personal medical advice. If you use the free consultation request form, your request is stored with the same details and marked as a consultation request, and AROmotion’s team will call or email you to help arrange a consultation with a doctor. A consultation request is not a booked appointment. Your request may also be sent to AROmotion’s customer records system so its team can follow up, and AROmotion then handles it under its Privacy Policy. By submitting a form, you consent to AROmotion contacting you as described in the statement beside the form, including by phone, text message and email. Ad click identifiers and analytics identifiers are not sent to AROmotion’s customer records system with your request.

Website analytics and session replay

This site uses PostHog, through a first-party endpoint, to understand how visitors use it: pages viewed, time on site, scroll depth and general interaction patterns, including whether a request form was started, sent or returned an error. PostHog also records session replays so we can see how people navigate the site and fix usability problems. Everything typed into a form is masked, the request forms are left out of recordings entirely, and the details you enter are never sent to PostHog. When you send a request, the analytics identifiers for your browser and visit are stored with it so the team can match a request to its visit; they are not sent to AROmotion’s customer records system. This product analytics is separate from advertising and runs whether or not your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.

Security and storage

Access to stored requests is limited to the site operator and its infrastructure providers. Hosting infrastructure may process request information, such as IP addresses, to serve the site and protect against abuse. The form uses a temporary hashed request key for rate limiting; it does not store a raw IP address with your request.

These pages use the Meta Pixel to measure visits from Doctor Bone on Bone’s ads on Facebook and Instagram and to count that a request was sent. Meta receives the page address, browser information and its own cookie. It does not receive the page’s title or description, or the details you enter in the form. The pixel doesn’t load if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. No other advertising pixels are enabled.

Questions about your information

For privacy questions or a request concerning your submitted details, contact AROmotion at info@aromotion.com. Please do not include medical records with a privacy request.

Educational material and references

Research summaries are written for a general audience. A study’s design, population and follow-up affect what it can establish. Links to original publications are provided in the research library. Inclusion of a study does not establish that an approach is appropriate for an individual or endorse a product.

The knee diagrams are simplified educational drawings. The image shown when this site is shared is AI-generated educational artwork. None of them are patient images, diagnoses or treatment results.

Webinar and external links

The webinar is a recording published by AROmotion on YouTube. The player loads only after you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed; YouTube then handles information under its own privacy policy. Research and other external links take you to websites with their own practices.
